TITTY TROTTERS,
KARAOKE AND
PARENTS!
Yes you're right I have been busy and having fun and I
must admit I am kn-----ck---ed.
First our friends Ann & Jim in La Oliva invited us and
Andy’s parents to a B.B.Q at their villa and as they had
Betty there who was 83 years young we thought we would
have a quiet old codgers night, WRONG!!!!
Sue &Trevor came and that was the recipe for a good
night,
Trev cooked the food and I controlled the Karaoke and
Betty crooned first singing the POWER OF LOVE with no
music and what a voice, I hope Sue &I can sing that well
at 83yrs incredible!!!
Trevor was trying to teach me to sing “I believe I can
Fly” well you only have to know me, that might be a very
difficult task or just impossible.
My In-Laws were dancing and Father had a go singing with
Frank “My Way” and of course doing it his way!
It was great afternoon leading into a late evening and I
must admit Sue was dubious but admitted us OLD CODGERS
were good fun and she might adopt us ??????
Jim was doing his impression of Elvis including the hair
and then Tom did “ A SEE YOU JIMMY”
I was thinking maybe Trevor could start up Slade 3 with
the Old Codgers, we could tour the Canaries????Just a
thought.
TITTY
TROTTER
On a Sunday all the girls (the photos show all the girls
and me from Corralejo) coached it to Caleta to see the
TITTY TROTTER SHOW, can you imagine 23 women on a coach
with some tourists singing for 40 minutes. Well I can as
I was there after I must add an afternoon of doing some
of the girl’s hair, adding Hairpieces and backcombing
some bouffants. Carla looked like Amy Winehouse
including the black eyeliner and a bottle of wine, Sue
looked like Bridget Bardot but younger and what with our
bling and boa’s we looked like we could be part of
Titty’s show ,,(just Joking)
We were all glammed up and on our arrival we were shown
to our tables, it reminded me of when I went to the
London Palladium years ago with tables set out in tiers
and laid out beautifully.
We quietly sat down (23 women quiet???)
The wine started flowing and these beautiful boys
dressed in glitz served up our dinner with as much wine
as you wanted; now we were not quiet
The venue was very well decorated and the stage was
beautifully lit and we sat with baited breath for the
show to begin.
Tables cleared except for the wine and WOW!!
The Drag queens were in full swing and laugh we all did
as it was brilliant, first laugh Barbara Woodhouse with
her pet dog (stuffed one of course) sang and at one
point she threw the dog at Natasha but it was on a leash
,but Natasha jumped back and threw her wine on the girls
behind and fell off her chair.
Next Happy Feet.
The 3 good-looking boys and the 3 drag queens came out
in Penguin outfits and dancing you could only laugh!!!
Tina Turner put in an appearance but she had certainly
had developed a beer belly and her wig kept falling off.
The legs were a definite likeness.
Shirley Bassey glided on but she seemed to have lost
some height and had the posture of Hilda Baker including
again a little beer belly.
The finale was great all glitz and certainly a brill
sight and all the costumes had been made by one of the
boys.
It was a fantastic night and if you come to Fuerte you
must see this show as it was such a good night out, I f
you need tickets all the tour operators will arrange it
for you, well worth it!!!!!!
The In-Laws (Barbara &Tom)
It’s great because when you get visitors you do more
things, that’s why I am a little tired but everyday is
important so we must enjoy our life.
We took them to Lanzarote on the Ferry and spent the day
there; I always feel the ferry ride it great on its own
especially sitting on the stern! With a beer.
We spent quite a few days on the beach at El Cotillo and
the sea was so warm and we found some lagoons so it was
so lovely just floating.
They loved the food and had their first experience of
eating Baby Goat and the goat’s cheese, Tom said when he
gets back to Torquay he might end up hopping around the
mountains but at 78 , I am not sure.
It’s so nice having visitors and we told them to come
for a month next time but in Jan,Feb to get away from
the frosts and fog.
It’s my last day with them today so a little shopping
and then the beach for a nice fish lunch and tonight out
for dinner.WHAT A LIFE???????????????

WHO ARE THESE STRANGE PEOPLE .???
YES IT’S MARK &JANE FROM SHOOTERS.they seem to be having
some fun up there maybe we ought to go and
see!!!!!!!!!!!!!
