In a last blast forward in the final week, he jumped ahead of Wayne's Winkers to get his hat trick.
Grumpy - as the Grapevine sponsor of this competition - very gracefully handed him his winnings of 200e, which Mike gratefully accepted and then proceeded to buy all and sundry copious amount of booze! As Grumpy said - to win twice might be good luck, but three times shows that his skill and dedication earned him his top spot. well done Mike, going for a fourth next year?? So near yet so far for Wayne's Winkers, who walked off with the second prize of 100e. Keep trying next year!
and last, but by no means least - congrats and 50e to Grumpy who was a real contender for number one until a trip to the Caribbean diverted his attention!
