WEDDING AND HAWAIIAN PARTY
Sam &Edita’s wedding
Now this was when I was in the U.K. And I have to
mention it because all the family were together
(Christenings, Weddings and, Funerals) That’s how it
always is - such a shame!!!!
There was also an unexpected guest at the church, I was
standing on the wet soggy grass in the churchyard
waiting as usual for the photos to be taken and this
really long slimy worm slither over my 3inch stiletto
shoes, scream I did not but sick I felt as it slithered
over to a gravestone and buried itself ugh! My brother
Martin just looked on and I won’t tell you his comment
as people do get buried.

The venue was great Thorn bury Castle so we were
treading where good old Henry VIII was bonking one of
his wives.

The old English flower
garden was really romantic as you can see by my brother
Ray. With his wife in the garden.

The bride as usual looked stunning and the groom Sam
nervous but as Edita’s parents could not speak English;
he did so well on his speech. I was really proud, as he
is one of my favourite cousins.

They said all their vows
in our childhood church so we had seen many of our
relations walk through the turnpike, but I remember the
days when the groom threw money and the kids threw rice.
I notice now Clintons and other shops must make a mint
in confetti. Now and I do miss all the old traditions.

Talking of those good old
days Sam had a really old vintage car to carry them off
and I did not like to tell him my dad had one like that.
I remember///////

It was quite an occasion for my sister as it was her
wedding anniversary this day and she had been married at
this same church many years before and I had been a
bridesmaid all in lilac and only 11 years old. It was
also sad as our parents and that older generation had
all passed on and just where had all those years gone.
They do just seem like yesterday.

The whole day was very classy and beautiful and as you
can see by the photos the venue was outstanding.

Nita my sister-in law felt young too as she slid down
the banister well !!!!

All had a good day and we would like to WISH SAM &EDITA
A WONDERFUL NEW LIFE TOGETHER..

SUE & TREVOR'S HAWAIIAN PARTY
They did it again a party of all parties.
Lilies floating on the pool, romantic you would think
but alas the filters kept sucking them in the corners
but whoever got thrown in the pool had to place them in
the middle again so as you can imagine quite a few
bodies got ducked.

I declined so crept into the Jacuzzi so on seeing me
wet, people thought I had already been thrown in and missed me out. See blondes aren’t that
dumb!!
Food now you know that’s a good subject for me to start
on and Trevor again surpassed himself with delicacies of
coconuts, fruits and an array of Hawaiian chicken
dishes. I as usual was first to partake so I am the
expert on all food that’s why I need a little lypo.

All us guests did well with our grass skirts and flowers
adorning our bodies and hair, even Andy looked stunning
in his loud shirt and his knobbly knees protruding out
from his blue skirt.

John one of the guests turned up as a Maori warrior
including the tattoos which he informed me took 3 hours,
good job they were only Henna. Carla took this to heart
and demanded a sacrifice!

Everybody had really gone to town
with their costumes and a good and drunken time was had
by all...

The cocktails were flowing generously and the spa 36
degrees and that’s where Andy and I sneaked off and
languished luxuriously in the foaming waters.

We could hear people being popped in the pool and
screams of shock as they hit the cold water at 3.00 am
but we just smirked in our lovely warm, romantic
setting.
Slightly inebriated as some were they started to drift
off home at about 4.00am but us veterans now needed our
fix of KARAOKE.

Why do I sound so good when I have been drinking
Champagne cocktails and of course our professional
Trevor always keeps us entertained and I must admit he’s
not a real Karaoke singer not like us. Too Professional??

Now 5.00am and coloured grass trailing everywhere and
empty glasses scattered all over the place, voices now
croaking and the pool looks like Hurricane Doghouse had
hit Villaverde.
Andy asleep in the pink armchair even
while we are screeching out “SWEET DREAMS ARE MADE OF
THIS” but this is normal for him, he is always asleep
for an hour or two then wakes up and wants to start
again but I am afraid by 6.00am a Taxi was called and
home we all went.

Great great party but what happened to Sunday?Did Toby
get his walk?
Did we feed the cats?
We certainly did not eat ourselves; we did not even get
out of our JIM JAMS.
All to soon Monday arrived and back to work!!!!!!
I need a quiet month or two but I doubt it.
