U.K. VISIT
I am running a bit behind as my life line alias computer
is not well so I am a bit frustrated as a slow not
obliging one reminds me of a man???
It
was a little cold in the UK but not heavy coat weather
so I was quite pleased but I did check in to In-Laws
just to let Barbara that an electric blanket and
porridge would be most welcome.
Next
visit my best Ali and her family where I indulged the
girls in big bars of chocolate.
Had
a lovely meal and a little champers darling but as you
know best friend know all your vices and secrets.
Elaine my Sister-in-law was next on call and another
lovely meal but after I watched Joe in the pouring rain
play like Beckham. I certainly would like to have washed
their kit but maybe I could have washed David’s, Beckham
that is .The mind boggles.
In
the evening we played cards and I lost loads but who
cares nice company a big roaring fire and chocs and
wine.
I
then had to spend a few days shopping and fill my case
and to have something to wear for the party where I
would see all my friends so best eye-make on my now
wrinkle free eyes and have a good time and I can assure
you at 2 o clock in the morning we were doing just that.
Food
well Ali &Steve excelled themselves, Salmon, Pheasant
what more can I say except it was brilliant and I still
miss them all.
Oh
and by the way I did miss Andy a little so they put our
wedding C.D. on TV and there was Andy smiling out of the
Box. Good Idea OR what.
Near
the end of my stay so I visit brother Ray and Martin for
yet more meals I am so glad there partners are such good
cooks. But am I stuffed.
These two bros are terrible jokers but I DO HAVE A GOOD
TIME WITH THEM I AM SURE THEY WILL NEVER GROW UP ,
I hope not !!
