TOTALLY EXHAUSTED AGAIN

YET ANOTHER TWO WEEKS GONE !!

Firstly we had Lee my nephew visit us and to be truthful it was quite a cultural, knowledgeable week as we went touring the Island.

Andy drove us to the highest point of the island to Betancuria and me being a little afraid of heights this was not my favourite drive. When you look over the side it’s a sheer drop and when the big guaquas (that means bus) meet you on a narrow point it just breathe in and pray.

We then arrived at Pajara a lovely village, quaint and authentic with beautiful flowers and trees and being as we had Toby with us he thought it was his birthday with such a choice of wee stops.

Hungry we were by now and we found this lovely old bar where we had fresh rolls filled with ham and cheese and delicious cold water, which we needed as the temp was 39 degrees.

Back into the Jeep and Andy decided to take us to the old ship wreck, now this is a real eye-opener as the road if you can call it that is rough, thank god for M&S bras.

The wreck has deteriorated since our last visit and I would imagine the sea will swallow it up soon, it is such a sad sight seeing this once majestic ship end up with no dignity being battered by the rough waves.
It was great day out and well worth a visit.

We all arrived home quite tired but still a night out is needed so we went to Michael and Leanne’s Bar CASBAHS next to Blue Rock where we had wonderful potato skins, chips with melted cheese and delicious chicken pieces coated in lemon pepper crumbs followed by a cold cider.

I THINK Lee had a good time but I do know Bar Luna’s till takings were down after he left. Pedro said he had run out of Jim Bean and no more even on the island??????

Waved and hugged him goodbye thinking I can now have a restful weekend and sunbathe and recharge my batteries but alas Sue &Trev are having yet another B.B.Q as cousin Barry &Julie are over.

So Sunday afternoon at 5.00pm we arrive with our bag of spare clothes as ending up in the pool is inevitable, Who ended up wet only Andy as in a tipsy stupor he yet again slips and splash .I must say this always happens and those who know him the falling asleep on a bar stool follows.
What could I not love about him??

So with water dripping from him, he attempts to play darts with our hosts but alas he also looses this game, Sue I must say showed us all up and even though she is very blonde she won the trophy but as you can see by the photo “women’s work is never done” so mopping up Andy’s drippings was quite a sight especially as her bling bling was sparkling as much as the pool.

Now the dart board was getting quite hard to hit now as we all seemed to see a little double, not that we hit any doubles so all to the Karaoke room to show Trevor how to sing.
Now Andy sang a duet with Trev and I was really impressed, as maybe if Trev had met him earlier, he could have auditioned for SLADE.

Barry, well I was really surprised he sang Elvis better then Elvis himself and when he bellowed out “LOVE ON THE ROCKS” I thought Neil Diamond had been invited to our party.

You name it we sang it but I must tell you what a good friend Trev &Sue are, so thoughtful they always bring me a magnifying glass as I can’t read the writing, they look after us old ones!!
OLD ONES did I say.

Get ready for my next statement
I am having an eye job done???
Yes its come to that I am going to London on Wednesday to do a celebrity thing .I have included this photo of me to show you a before and after as I am having the suitcases removed from under my eyes and the extra baggage from the top.

I think I am very brave, so I thought I would share my experiences with you so if anyone has been thinking about it, then you can see how I go on and when I look 10 years younger you will all be queuing up at the TRANSFORM CLINIC.
So read my diary on the next two weeks Starting on Thursday when the limo will pick me up at 4.30 am to take me to London to go under the knife.
Am I scared? No I am not just so excited as the thought of looking 10 years younger over takes the fear.
The only person I feel sorry for is my sister-in-law Nita as she is coming with me and nursing after the op is done and then I am driven straight back to Bristol while still under general anesthetic. Nita said if we get stopped by the police they might mistake us for Patsy&Eddie as in AB FAB.
Hope I can see to write next week, Just joking???
