LET’S GO SURFING WITH THE HUNKS
 Always method to my madness but then that is what women
are good at, so Andy and my brother Ray says.
 I
am now a Surfers Chick and let me explain, I bought for
my man 8 surf lessons and the promise if he keeps it up
I will buy him a sexy wetsuit.
 We are now on the 3rd lesson and he loves it but what
more could a woman ask but to sit on the beach watching
these hunks ride the waves.
On the first lesson my brother was here but he is not
that interested but his son Daniel was so excited and
nervous as we gave him a lesson for Xmas too so we all
made a morning of it at El Cotillo.
 Jeff the French instructor, who has a surf school in
Lajares, escorted us all to the beach where they all
put on wet suits. Now that is a feat
in itself to me pulling and stretching into this second
skin which Jeff assured them would keep them warm and
snug.
 A real surf chick Leanne who as you can see was petite
joined the two guys Andy and Daniel. She was very keen as her
boyfriend Will is also a real surfer so beware boys?
Jeff explained to them all the full safety stuff and then can
you believe it - straight in the ocean.
 First the body board techniques and then teaching them
to stand, not that they achieved that level but with
spouting mouthfuls of foam and concentration on their
faces they were all three in their element.
Hooked they were and I knew that now I was going to be a
surf widow but the beach at El Cotillo is so beautiful
a few hours there watching my man and walking Toby was
going to be brilliant for me too.
My brother Ray and his partner Rachael also watched on
as Daniel did so well and he can’t wait to return here
or maybe they will take him to Newquay in Cornwall.

again slow and relaxed and no water!!
NEXT ANOTHER UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE FOR DANIEL
 An EVENING AT Sadie’s, now this is certainly growing up
material and as usual he/she was in good form and Ray
had never seen this before so I was a little nervous as
I wanted this brother of mine to visit again. But Sadie
did not let me down, it was a great night and when he
dressed as Rudolph clicking his front hooves and tapping
a dance it was stupendous.
The family loved it and poor Daniel was spied out as
Sadie knew how to embarrass but Daniel gave as good back
and he really enjoyed it so I must add it was a
brilliant show and well worth a visit.
WE THREE KINGS ARRIVE
 Arrive they did in Corralejo on the 6th January which is
our xmas here and when the children receive their
presents. The streets are alive with Spanish and
English catching the sweets that are thrown into the
road.
 The camels did seem to be enjoying it and it looked so
authentic and a bit emotional with the children looking
on with awe.
Religion is very strong here and it was so communal with
all the different races and languages being spoken and
watching the three wise men following the star. Then the
cleaning trucks following picking up the crushed sweets.
CATLANZA TRIP
 Ray and Rachael voted this their most exciting and
enjoyable experience of their holiday. The trip was on
the catamaran out over to Lanzarote and around Lobos.
You even get to go on a jet ski. They even said to me at the airport that was just the
most fantastic xmas present you have ever bought me in
57 years (how old).?
 It was a very eventful week and I am kn---ked and tired
as were my family as you can see.
 But
they really loved it here, especially the romantic
sunsets. I now have to get ready for next visitors - March I think
Tracey and Pete. Can’t wait I love visitors!!
