JUST A NORMAL WEEK
Firstly still working still titivating clients hair and
I must admit a few interesting colours have left my
workplace, don’t panic they loved their new image.
Andy is still digging holes and building his beautiful
pools and still we do not have one, but in an apartment
that would be difficult.
Oh yes we did go to celebrate Tracey ‘s 40th birthday in
Castaways and a great night as Phil the owner was
blasting out Neil Diamond.
Derek from Rogues Gallery was crooning some great swing
songs followed by some Rock &Roll and Al&Val as of A.V.M.
Kitchens were the first to jive the night away.
Castaways is a great bar now since Phil&Tina took over
serving tasty food with music every night, the views
from this bar are superb overlooking the harbour and
Lanzarote. On a warm or cool evening what more could you
want except a long cool drink and a romantic partner.
A few of the Corralejo golfers were there dancing and
celebrating Tracey's birthday but I must add that still
the conversation managed to divert to golf techniques
and the one you missed but the subject of Jo our top
ladies golfer who had a hole in one last week was
repeated over and over, now if had scored a hole in one,
well the whole world would had known !!!!!
I am going to start playing again in fact I did mention
to Dave Brown I will play Sunday but I had forgot that
we were going to another party at the infamous Sue &Trevs
(that’s another story).
Anyway it was great night and I ended up drinking and
dancing with Carla & Michele and Andy just watched on
with awe how us girls kiss and love each other so much
when we are a little worse for wear!!!
Hey another late night I screamed as we strolled or
wobbled along the sea's edge holding hands at 2.30 am.
Next day was Saturday and at 7.00pm a B.B.Q at Sue &Trev's
so as you can imagine we did not do much this day except
I did follow the Spanish Tradition and have a siesta.
Swimwear in a bag and a change of clothes as a push in
the pool is guaranteed so be prepared we were.
Sue’s family were visiting so I was introduced to her
sister and the 4 children but wait for it they were
teenagers so a lively night was assured.
But alas Billy Bob a beautiful ginger cat was very quiet
not his usual self of running up your legs etc in fact
he was poorly and got worse by 10.pm so as I was not
drinking we drove him to Puerto Del Rosario to the vets.
So instead of Karaoke and swimming, Sue and I were in
the vets until 12.30am but we did look odd, Sue in a
long dress and me a bit dressy standing outside this
vets holding a cat box.
My sympathy to Sue as Billy died a few days later but I
am sure he is the little cat heaven.
I am afraid to say it was still another late night, as
we had to leave Billy in the vets so we went back to the
party and drowned our sorrows.
We eventually arrived home 2.45am.
Yes we did play Golf next day and teed off at
10.30am,what stamina I have or is it just stupidity oh
well what ever, My Andy won the prize with 42 points and
being this was his 3rd game this year he did well but
Bandit came to mind. 42 points.
Myself I did quite well I did play to my handicap so I
was pleased, as this was my 1st game in 2years.
Early to bed this night as three days of such a hectic
life I needed my beauty sleep, well that’s what I call
it.
Just look at the pics and as you can see hectic or not
we are having a good life !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
