HAIR-RAISING EXPERIENCE!
I must just
tell you about an awful experience I had last week, I
was on my way to Tony’s 65th Birthday Party
at Jive Bunny and we decided to drive so we jumped in
the jeep and turned the key as you do and GRrrrrr no go.
So Andy turned the key again and GRrrrrr,chug chug, oh
no I exclaimed this bloody car and then Andy tried again
and this time GRrrr,chug and Miowwwwwwwwww yes that’s
right a cat under the bonnet.
Now me being
one of the mad women who wander Corralejo feeding and
looking after these furry friends screamed louder than
the cat and I jumped out of the car shouting undo bonnet
rapido, Andy, he moved faster than I have ever seen and
as he opened the bonnet this black cat which looked like
he had been plugged into a light socket wailed and ran
hell for leather.
We gave chase
for 5minutes until eventually the cat collapsed and Andy
picked it up and after a phone call to my mate Lyn also
known as CATWOMAN who kindly took the cat and
administered T.L.C and took it to the vets next day.
I bet your
wondering how bad, well stitches in one leg cuts to
ears, eyes and the jaw was so bruised and strained it
looked like it tried to swallow fan belt.
Joking aside
it is well now still shocked and back with its owners,
Me, every
time I get in the car now I bang the doors, bonnet and
shudder at the thought because I know a friend that this
happened to and she drove 10 miles before she noticed a
cat with no tail leap from under her car.
Was I ready
for this party now???
 It
has to be done so off we go and all had a good time and
here are some photos to prove Tony&Ann certainly made us
feel welcome and some lovely food.

Tony was the
first guy we met here and he certainly contributed to
our coming out here as we met him whilst on holiday and
it helped as he was from our home area of TORQUAY.
SUE & TREVS
AGAIN
Another night
at Sue’s and wonderful food again and as you can tell
food is what I judge a party on as I prefer that to
booze.
 I
must say Andy was Karaoke king and for them that know
him think I might be lying but I can assure you he got
of the sofa on his own accord and sang with Trevor (exSlade),
I suspect he thought he might get a job backing Trevor
on his next recording, dream on Andy it’s the Booze
Singing. I must admit he surprised me with his hidden
talents especially after 16 years I have never seen him
with a mike in his hand, a pint yes !!!

GENERAL
 What
else have I done this week well firstly I have left the
salon where I worked and am now working from home or
mobile if you would prefer so if you would like me to

It is nice
and my first client was Sue and I gave her a glass of
champers at 10 o’clock am.
SHOPPING
 We
went to the shopping centre and as you walk in they have
these massage chairs in by the escalators, I suppose if
you are knackered after shopping for 1 euro you can have
a back massage, of course Hair brain had to try. It was
great all shopping areas should have these for us women
under stress trying to find clothes that fit and trying
to squeeze into those that don’t,
I did buy
some nice trousers but still need to diet a little
especially as my two brothers are over in three weeks.
