CHRISTMAS AND MORE CHRISTMAS
I need to exercise more, eat less and buy more
anti-ageing creams then I might look less worn out.
So what have I been up to NOW??
 Well
first ,my mate Carla of the Nail Studio and myself were
asked to judge the” FLIX FACTOR”
There we were at our table with free drinks at the
Infamous Karaoke Bar FLICKS where the finals of the
Corralejo Crooners was being held .Now joking aside this
is serious stuff and we were taking it that way so if
these participants become famous maybe they would
remember who gave them their first break !
 To
cut a long story short, they were good but the Simon
Cowell in us came to surface so we asked one girl to
sing again, this time a Rock song, stunned we were and
of course Zandra won.
 Second
place was Nick who entertained us with Sex bomb and what
a mover, could not believe you could perform like that
with a tie on. Oh and him squeezing my knee as he passed
by had no influence on my decision, Honest.
 Next
was more difficult so we had Ray as Elvis and Ludwig,
both excellent in joint third.
Carla and I really enjoyed this and were very flattered
when the owner Alison phoned us next day and asked us to
be resident judges with free drinks - how could we
possibly refuse
XMAS DAY
 Drinks
in Rogues Gallery to meet and wish our entire fellow
Brits and Hayden the smallest father Xmas in our town a
Very Merry Xmas and then we went to Los Pepes a superb
Restaurant in Corralejo where they certainly excelled
themselves with food you could die for.
Now the company that’s a different story!
 Ann
and John who own HOME FROM HOME in Corralejo and I must
add its well worth a visit to their shop by the bus
station to see their choice of furniture and home
furnishings.
 They
were accompanied by their son Michael and Leanne his
wife, laugh we have never been so entertained on a
Christmas day like this for years, John was in such good
form he reminded me of my family Xmases with all his
stories of when he was a fireman, especially the one
about the fire on a farm and he was saving all the
animals but it was too late for the chickens they were
all roasted and tasted good!! Love Yorkshire humour! Oh,
and Happy Birthday John for this week .!!!!!!!!!!!!
 It
was so good that we ate so much, laughed so much and
drank so much we were in bed snoring by 8.30PM.
Great Xmas Day.
New Year
 Well
a dinner dance in Bar Luna and Andy has brushed the
moths away and donned his wedding suit and I had to
persuade him that you cannot wear flip-flops with it and
finally he put on shoes.
 Again
the food was excellent and a great time was had by all
and it was nice as it was all nations, Dutch, German,
French and a few of us Brits and we were all as one as
we danced and drank until 4.00am.
 The
most exciting bit was that the temperature was still
only 16 degrees at this time and walking along the beach
on our way home was a little romantic especially with
the ocean washing our feet, What A Great Life!!
Oh I forgot I did not mention all my Xmas pressies -
loads and loads but I am now up with Technology as I get
an Ipod Nano!!
They say its easy to download
music and I have 500 songs on my computer. I venture and
try and try but all I got was 997 photos and they make
no sound, unlike myself!
Help!! Daniel my nephew is out next week with my brother
and he is 16 years old and that age is so good at all
this high techno stuff. Maybe I will use my old Sony
Tape head set until he comes and look at my life in the
photos. Sad Woman am I.
Next week more drinking and out and about with my
Brother what a boring life I have.
