CARNIVAL IS HERE
SO IS MY BROTHER !!!!
Ray and Rachel here again and this time they are looking
to buy an apartment so they can holiday in peace away
from me and Andy and I must say it was great fun looking
around and having this feeling of wanting to decorate
your humble abode again, I can remember in the U.K.
looking at show houses and feeling so dissatisfied with
your home.
Some of the apartments had such incredible views
overlooking the sea and Lanzarote, they were spoilt with
choice but I must say Rachel from GOLDACRE ESTATES was
so helpful and kind. So if you decide to look for a
property go to them and ask for Debbie or Rachel and say
Elaine sent you (alias Hair brain) and they will really
look after you and they might buy me a bottle of wine
???
They did find a fantastic apartment but no commitment
yet so I must wait in anticipation.
Saturday night and Carnival and Andy and I were two
pirates, Andy looking like Johnny Depp and me as his
floozy wench, but then who would not want to be Johnny’s
wench!!!
Ray and Rachel were the great Mark Anthony and Cleopatra
but alas no photos maybe Ray will e-mail Hair brain one
to add just so you could see what pratts we all looked.
We met Jane (JAWS) and her son Joe who was a little
yellow box watched with wonder at the procession. Dale
who tried to look at good as Andy but ???
Mel who works in Rogues Gallery I think was in between
seaweed and a mermaid but such pretty colours.
I really enjoy how people really
push the boat out at carnival to get themselves dressed
up, here are a couple more...love the jelly fish!
It was so cold in the evening but we still went up to
the fair as Andy wanted to ride the bulls, which he does
every year but this year as a pirate and his long black
hair blowing in his face it was a scream.
Rachel was so cold she had goose bumps on top of goose
bumps even her long johns and black wig did not keep her
warm but then Ray and her were only wearing my cut up
white sheets as togas and out in the cold even my teeth
were chattering but then I chatter a lot anyway.
The next day we were all pretty exhausted so just went
for a stroll on the beach with Toby, I have to be
careful with Toby as Ray loves him so I have to keep a
close eye on them in case they abduct him!!!!
GIRLS LUNCH AGAIN.
Another friend of mine Sue invited me to a girlie lunch
just how can you refuse especially in an Italian
Restaurant CENTRAL Café overlooking the harbour.
Sue is the one eating the bowl of jelly tots, I bet you
think she should share but that is only one of the three
big bowls we had been given to us,
Claire had so much wine she thought she'd give me a
massage and as always I did not refuse.
We had a few special guests Mr&Mrs Napkin head alias
Carol and Sue Pink.
As you can see by the photos we had a good time so after
5 bottles wine, loads of food and six hours later we
strolled home all the worst for wear, I am so glad I had
a late start for work next day but it was well worth it,
we should do this at least twice a month.
Well that’s all for now brother’s gone back so maybe
life might be a little quieter but just MAYBE ??????
