Well hello my darling devoted readers, may I apologize for such a huge leave of absence, over a year, and what a year it’s been… public appearances (not all sober), photo shoots, trips to Dublin, organizing tour dates but most importantly… meetings for my next 18 gowns to be made (well, a girl has to get her priorities straight), not everything will be mentioned in this weeks column, but I’ll try my best!!

 

Where do I start??... I’ve been heading out in public a lot more this year (with police escort naturally… not for safety reasons, I just love men in uniform!!!), one occasion springs to mind when I ended up in a fellow writer for this sites bar (not mentioning any names eh EdCase??), Halloween for example… after starting my public walk round at Flintstones bar, Myself ( In Red), Kitty (The Witch), Ken (Egor), Linzie (Spiders Web), Francesca (Death at the Moulin rouge) and Gill (Dorothy) strode into town with such determination the crowds parted like the Red Sea, stopping in every bar along the ‘mile’,

Gill being new to our little Sadie´s Family wasn’t quite sure of the protocol of my walk rounds, and at one point walked INFRONT of me… (I know… the cheek!!!), but soon everyone fell into line (probably because their heels were killing them, bloody amateurs!!!), and we found ourselves at Hello with the ‘almost as glamorous as me’ hostess… Sabi, couple of bottles of Crystal.

Later, we head off to Oasis (which as you know is owned by fuertenews´s fearless leader EdCase, I remember walking in… and that’s about it till I woke up in a dodgy hotel room somewhere, but as you can see from the pictures… we did have a great time, John on the other hand got MORE than he bargained for (and no… it was NOT his room I woke up in!!!).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Christmas was it’s usual success, new gowns and wigs, but back by popular demand was my Tap Dancing Reindeer (1,000’s spent on gowns and the outfit people love most… that bloody 10 quid reindeer!!!), the finale always being my favorite part of the show, pictures stayed off the internet till now… so feast your eyes on what you missed…

 

 

 

 

This year brings a lot of new happenings to my humble little establishment, show wise, this year will see ‘An evening with ‘Bassey and Sinatra’, this speaks for itself, we have an 80’s Diva’s night, An Night on Broadway, Swing Spectacular, and my shows as usual (all this work and I bet you think I get paid for doing it eh??), plus more public appearances (avoiding the alcoholic water at a CERTAIN bar)

 

 

I never write reviews for anywhere, that’s Jeniquity’s job… but I feel compelled to mention a certain new restaurant.  I went for dinner last week with my entourage and had the most AMAZING evening, food spectacular, Service excellent by the Gorgeous Ian and David, watched over by the Eagle eyed Manager Karen, the only down side was I’d like to have seen cloth napkins not paper… but that’s just me!! So thank you 5^th Avenue… See you again very soon!!!

 

Well, I think that’s about it from me for this first edition of my Diary again, on a personal note, thank you to EVERYBODY over the Christmas season for helping me and mother (Kitty) through a very difficult time after the death of my Father… You all have a special place in my heart!!

 

So my Darlings… I’ll update you again in my next edition, but for now…
