Birthdays and Bars!

Hello my darling devotees, I apologise for such and absence, but busy busy busy!!! (all will be revealed shortly
as soon as the management permit me to speak publicly!!!)


So what has been going on in my fabulous life I hear you ask??? well, as usual... grab a glass of bubbly, get comfy and read on.


Firstly, a milestone birthday party here on Fraggle Rock, you remember me mentioning my good friend
Liz Llewellyn (P.C llewellyn that is from the London met force)??, well she decided to have her 50th Birthday here
with us in Fuerte and came armed with a selection of gowns that 'almost' put mine to shame, take a look... good at 50???
NO DOUBT ABOUT IT!!!!

I had a first recently, that being a show in... get this... a SPORTS BAR!!!!!,

Now I haven't done shows in pubs for quite some time now,
certainly never a venue I had to share with t.v screens and footy shirts, but I have to be honest...

Shooters bar in Tamaragua really pulled the stops out, firstly... BUILDING ME A STAGE AND DRESSING ROOM!!!

I was quite worried as this kind of show had NEVER been seen by Shooters patrons before,  so was rather shocked when I made my usual glamorous arrival at 8.15 to see that there wasn't a chair free in the place, and thankfully stayed that way until I finished LONG after 1am!!!

Of course... the evening could not have gone ahead without a new gown to mark the occasion, by show time though francesca was sick of bottle green sequins and material!!!



You may remember back in Sept I wrote about my London Debut in the Never the Bride show, well it appears
I have serious competition if I want to keep that status, Here's the pic of me with Nikki and Catherine (bean)...

AND MY COMPETITION!!!!



We are trying to talk NTB into taking a well deserved break here on the rock, Nikki and Bean do want to,
but work commitments with the Dame are SKY high at the minute, but if I know my mate Debbie... she can be VERY persuasive so watch this space... there may even be news of a NTB gig in fuerte... FINGERS CROSSED!!!!!


Coming up next week is my much awaited arrival back in Dublin, Myself and my bag carriers (namely Kitty and Francesca) arrive on 15th Nov and Debbie, Nikki and Gil arrive from london the following day (I can see this that weekend being VERY messy indeed if London was anything to go by!!).

The shows have been sold out for a couple of months now, which is nice to know so will have plenty to tell and show you next time. (that is when the frost-bite clears up and I can type again).


Something I have for you all to look forward to is my 'official fan club' website will be unvieled shortly, and I suppose I should mention HIM... Kennie has his first C.D coming out soon, 'My Kind of Town' is packed full of swing tracks (and a few bonus tracks), so you can listen in the comfort of your own home!!
