Birthday of
the Century So to get straight on with it... The Birthday of the century... namely, (hardly my alter-ego, but worth a mention I suppose...) Kennie, what started out being a normal swing show with a few friends, ended up being the longest show in history, topping 4 hours!!!!, and 5 bottles of Arehucas (our local rum), which was mainly consumed by Kennie and Edcase (you should have seen the state!!!), Mind you, I think Della downed half a Heineken factory! Maybe she was trying to get over the embarrassment of having turned up waering the same dress as Betty (in the background) who also seems to be staring daggers at her!
I unfortunately wasn't able to make it as I had my monthly prior engagement at my private members club... The Betty Ford (now having two lifetime members, myself and another 'head of the page' writer for fuertenews, and as hairbrain has given up her membership... I'll let you work out who my fellow club member is), but from what I hear... it was a damn good job I couldn't make it, as a blast from my past arrived on the rock trying to steal my thunder!!! (trying!!!!!!!!!????), My Sister, Crystal Titz, who raided my wardrobe and decided to entertain my fan base whilst I was away... The cheek!!!!!
We also had a special guest in the form of Daz - not the painter! - who did it "his way" with Kennie - he should be so lucky!!
The party (so I understand) was a huge success, and Kennie was especially pleased with his cake - all 3kg of it - (and have to say girls... wouldn't we all???).
We would like to thank everyone who came, or sent their wishes via the internet for the Birthday Bash, and look forward to NEXT year!!!... counting the days!!! As Crystal was on the island, I thought it best to show the locals here what sisterly ´love´is really like!!! My older sister was very accomodating to everyone in the bar, and before you ask... she claims to be middle-aged (but how many 152 year old women do you know???), so for one night only... we appeared together, of course demonstrating our own unique talents, mine on the stage, Crystals... errr... well, she's been in the convent for quite some time so they have yet to be found!!! but it was good to back with my dear BIG sis, and look forward to her return later this year.
I would like to say an especial thank you to friends who came from far and wide to celebrate here... especially my little mate Libby, who gave me a fabulous picture which travels everywhere with me now.
There have been a few more 'activities' this week, so I will write about them in my next edition, so again... A HUGE thank you to everyone, I know you were all special!!! Till next time, lots of love... and be good!! Ta Ta
